The Holster Mounting Plate (HMP) has several primary purposes. This plate will give the user the ability to swap mounts quickly without fumbling with the posts on the inside of the holster. It also gives more thread contact for your mount screws, more threads mean stronger and longer lasting. The plate also acts as a rigid spacer. The benefit of being a spacer is to step the mount away from the holster to clear body armor, level 2 mechanisms, and overall speed of the draw on competition shooting.
The Holster Mounting Plate is a little over a 1/4" thick 6061 aluminum plate with all of the industry standard hole spacings (Blackhawk, Bladetech, G-Code, Safariland, BOSS, etc). Those holes are threaded for direct mounting with 8-32 screws (1/4" or 3/8" screws work best). The plate physically mounts to the holster with only two points, linear in direction with a spacing of 2.6" (Safariland top to bottom). This gives the user the ability to use a heavier threadlocker on the mount since there are no posts to spin.
Order the plate with 1/4" or 3/8" or 3/4" screws for the mount that fits you your needs. (note, because there are no posts for the mounts, WARFYTR Cinch Hooks require 3/4" screws if attaching them to the HMP)
